With the aim of disseminating information, fostering basic knowledge and skills on building digital government, and promoting the implementation of the national digital transformation strategy, the Center for International Integration Support of Ho Chi Minh City cooperated with the People's Committee of Tan Phu District to organize a training conference to foster international integration knowledge and skills in 2023, topic: "Digital transformation at state agencies in the new context" on May 5, 2023. Attending the Conference, ther were the participation of officials, civil servants, public employees and employees in Tan Phu District.

At the conference, Master Dau Ngoc Linh, Lecturer of the Faculty of State & Law, Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Personnel introduced an overview of digital transformation, regulations on digital transformation in public organizations and digital competency framework for cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees.

According to Master Dau Ngoc Linh, digital transformation is a process of total and comprehensive change of individuals and organizations in the way of living, working and production methods based on data and digital technology. Digital transformation requires the joint participation of all sectors from the Government, to businesses, organizations, and individuals in all industries and fields.

The year 2023, is the National Digital Data Year, according to Decision No. 328/QD-UBND dated February 6, 2023 of the Chairman of the City People's Committee on approving the Data Governance Strategy of Ho Chi Minh City until 2020. 2025, with orientation to 2030, identify 8 priority areas for digital transformation: Health; Education; Finance - banking; Agriculture; Transportation and logistics; Energy; Natural resources and environment; Industrial production.
