Application of digital transformation in the management of antibiotic use in hospitals and medical facilities
Ho Chi Minh city Department of Science and Technology has just organized the Council for the acceptance of the science and technology task "Improving the management of antibiotic use by the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City through the establishment of a management of antibiotic use in hospitals”. This is a task carried out by the Saigon Center for Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy).


Model of the set of synthetic criteria

The representative of the team said that the introduction of antibiotics is a major turning point in medicine, helping to significantly reduce the morbidity and bacterial infections. Antibiotics are very effective, safe and relatively inexpensive drugs that save millions of lives. The world has widely used antibiotics in hospitals, communities and many other professions.

The results show that most of the test subjects highly appreciate the features built into the software with a general scale for the following criteria: system overview, data uploading and viewing Information, analysis and presentation of the results achieved 8/9 points (Likert scale 9).

From this result, the representative of the task implementation team emphasized that the research results can help hospitals, partly assess the current situation of antibiotic use at the facility; Evaluate the effectiveness of the Antibiotic Management program's interventions; Improving the quality of antibiotic treatment.
