On July 14, 2023, at the Center for Advanced Application of Science and Technology under Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology (No. 273 Dien Bien Phu, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) was a training course on propaganda on innovation activities in the public sector for union members and youths in Ho Chi Minh City. The training course was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology delegation under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Union.

The training course had the participation of Mr. Vo Hung Son - Head of local Science and Technology Management Department (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology) who was also the trainer of the training course with the participation of nearly 60 youth union members and youths are officials, civil servants and public employees at the branches of the Union and its branches.

The training course provided a lot of knowledge and content about the importance of innovation in governance of the public sector. Accordingly, innovation plays a very important role in the development of countries and businesses, and is the driving force for economic progress and competitiveness of all countries. Innovation can take place in both commercial and non-commercial sectors. Therefore, many countries are putting innovation at the center of their development strategies and paying great attention to the innovation index. In particular, youths play an important role in innovation, from daily tasks, they must have a sense of innovation to contribute to the development of the unit and to the overall development of Ho Chi Minh City.

The content of the training session attracted the interest, understanding and exchange of ideas of the union members and youths participating in the training course.
