Attending the working sessions, there were Mr. Luong Thanh Son - Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of the province, representatives of leaders, departments, and related units of districts, towns and cities in the province.

The purpose of the honor is to affirm the position, role, and recognize the merits of intellectuals with excellent achievements in science and technology applied in practice, contributing to the process of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the province, and at the same time increasing encouragement of scientific and technological intellectuals to continue to strengthen solidarity, promote intelligence, and contribute to the construction of the province.

Through the working sessions, representatives of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities were very interested in implementation, such as issuing a dispatch on information deployment as well as regularly propagated and disseminated widely in the media, reviewed and selected subjects who were intellectuals with university degrees or higher participating in activities in the field of science and technology inside and outside the province, meeting the requirements of Decision No. /QD-UBND dated July 28, 2020 of the Provincial People's Committee on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulation on selection and honoring the title of "Typical intellectuals in science and technology of Binh Thuan province", at the same time implementing the Plan No. 4296/KH-HDXC dated December 16, 2022 of the Selection Council, honoring typical intellectuals in science and technology of Binh Thuan province on "The 24th Science and Technology Award of Binh Thuan province on the "24th year of selection and honoring of science and technology".

On behalf of the working delegation, Mr. Luong Thanh Son expressed his recognition of the achievements that the districts have achieved after 3 times of organizing, and at the same time suggested that the leaders of the districts continue to pay attention to and promote extensive propaganda work as well as support and overcome difficulties and limitations in the process of completing the profile of intellectuals to participate in selection, upholding the spirit of solidarity, promoting personal capacity in the social and economic development of the province.
