Developing strategies for the scientific and technical associations

Many scientific and technical associations still lack regulations on management and operation, and forms of intellectual gathering are monotonous, lacking in sociality, and few people know about. Therefore, industry associations need to develop visions and development strategies on organizational models, human resource planning, finance, communication and promotion of the organization's image.

On July 28, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) held a briefing of the National Science and Technology Associations in 2023.
MSc. Phan Xuan Dung, President of VUSTA said that in the past time, VUSTA and national associations have made great efforts in gathering, uniting and promoting the role and creativity of the Vietnamese S&T intellectuals, continue to build and strengthen the organizational system, deploy activities according to the functions and tasks of VUSTA.
According to VUSTA's report, in the first 6 months of the year, consulting and criticism activities of industry associations took place actively, closely following the country's socio-economic situation, such as the following law projects: Law Land (amended), Law on Protection of Consumer Rights (amended), Law on Cooperatives, Law on Medical Examination and Treatment, Law on Housing, Law on Real Estate Business, Law on Credit Institutions and etc.
At the same time, the industry associations also contributed ideas and contributed to the completion of draft decrees, circulars, national technical regulations and standards related to the professional activities of the national industry associations. country; criticize resolutions on specific mechanisms for some localities. |
