Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Mrs. Chu Van Hai (Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City) expressed her hope that the content shared at the Conference will contribute to answering questions and solving difficulties for businesses. Public services are more proactive in using the Science and Technology Development Fund to invest in research and development of science and technology. Thence, public service enterprises have the opportunity to innovate equipment and technological solutions to improve operational capacity and service quality.

Within the framework of the Conference, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Suong (Acting Head of Science Management Department - Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City) guided public service enterprises to order, propose and perform support tasks. Enterprises create new products, innovate to improve productivity and quality, create competitive advantages. Specifically, it can be a scientific and technological research mission, a pilot production project, a humanities and social science research task or a scientific project, etc. These tasks are performed in a timely not exceeding 24 months, except for duties in the agricultural or medical sectors. Funding for these tasks comes from the public service enterprise's own sources, from the City's scientific career budget or from other sources.
