These are two of the activities included in the memorandum of understanding to support innovative startups and promote market expansion for Korean - Vietnamese businesses between JBCCEI and DOST, signed on June 5, 2023, with the aim of Strengthen cooperation activities to promote innovative start-up businesses of the two countries and two cities to the market; promote entrepreneurial spirit for Vietnamese and Korean students; Strengthen support activities for businesses in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and Vietnam in general, seek and apply technology from Korea to serve production; Form a joint cooperation program in project incubation activities and start-up businesses.

According to the Organization Board, MEGA US EXPO is a high-end multi-industry exhibition, where Korean - Vietnamese exhibitors approach business customers/importers, held periodically once a year. This event is not only a bridge for economic cooperation between the two countries but also promotes the spirit of startup, introducing and supporting new products and solutions to the market. Continuing success from 2022 with 715 business meetings (B2B matching) and 71 international MOUs signed. In 2023, MEGA US EXPO will continue to be held on August 30 - 31 at GEM Center (HCMC) with the participation of 130 stores from Korea. Companies participating in the exhibition are diverse in many fields from food, cosmetics to technology, life, and etc.

With the message "Leading the way for business integration", MEGA US EXPO 2023 will be a place for exhibitors to access a network of business partners and consumers, opening up comprehensive cooperation opportunities. The exhibition is expected to attract up to 8,000 visitors and create 1,000 B2B matching sessions. Regarding the UNIV.STAR Student Startup Ideas Contest, after a long period of intense competition, the Organization Board has also found promising faces and projects to honor and award prizes.
