Tien Giang Province Department of Science and Technology pays special attention to supporting startups and applying science and technology in production. According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Chau Thanh district, the application of science and technology in vegetable production has helped improve economic efficiency. The area applying the sprinkler irrigation system reached 3,400 hectares, accounting for about 80% of the area for growing vegetables of all kinds. The area applying IPM reached 2,800 hectares, accounting for 65% of the area for growing vegetables of all kinds. The income from vegetables is from 150 million to 325 million VND/ha/year.

In Go Cong Tay district, a locality located in the Go Cong sweetening area of ​​Tien Giang province, safe vegetable cooperatives have built suitable production models, applied science and technology in intensive farming, formed concentrated vegetable growing areas to respond to climate change, and created a source of quality agricultural products to serve the market, achieving high profits.
