The workshop was presided by Dr. Ha Minh Hiep - Acting Chairman of the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality and leaders of state management agencies and public service units under the Committee; on the local side, there were more than 360 delegates, including leaders of the Department of Science and Technology, leaders of the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality and officials, civil servants, public employees and workers working in standards, metrology and quality of 63 provinces and centrally-run cities.

In his opening speech and directing the Workshop, Dr. Ha Minh Hiep - Acting Chairman of the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality said that the measurement assurance program has been implemented in many ministries, localities and enterprises and achieved many important results. Through practical implementation, it is found that one of the key factors for successful implementation is the need for a team of experts in measurement assurance. Organizing this professional workshop is really necessary to exchange, disseminate and share professional experiences to effectively implement measurement management activities in localities.
