On the side of the Tochigi Business Delegation, there were Mr. Keiichiro Kataoka, CEO of Jizoku Limited Company, Tokyo-based start-up specializing in carbon credit, and Mr. Kento Inaba, CEO of Liiiily Asia Limited Company, along with Mr. Nguyen Hung Thanh, President of the Vietnamese Association in Tochigi.
On the side of Da Nang city, there was Mr. Nguyen Viet Toan, Director of Da Nang Center for Supporting Innovative Startups and Innovations, along with businesses and innovative startup projects in Da Nang, such as EM&AI Company, TED Technology Limited Company, Archisketch Joint Stock Company, CAS Company, Talentnet Corporation, Da Nang Clean Bean Sprouts Joint Stock Company, and etc.
The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the possibility of cooperation in measuring methane emissions in rice fields in Vietnam, thereby promoting the application of carbon credits. At the same time, the two sides explored the needs and exchanged information on potential areas, such as human resources, information technology, manufacturing, tourism, and education.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Viet Toan, Director of the Danang Center for Supporting Innovative Startups, introduced the innovative startup ecosystem in Danang. Tochigi prefecture enterprises, including Jizoku and Liiiily Asia, presented their projects and investment opportunities in Tochigi. In particular, they shared their achievements in applying technology to reduce carbon emissions and the impact of carbon credits on sustainable agriculture. In addition, Da Nang businesses also had the opportunity to introduce their activities and achievements in areas, such as information technology, manufacturing, and tourism. In the near future, Mr. Nguyen Viet Toan also hopes to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Vietnamese Association in Tochigi Prefecture as well as the Tochigi Prefecture government to further strengthen the relationship between the two sides. |
