Currently, Vinh Phuc has 28 science and technology organizations, including 17 public organizations, 10 non-public organizations and one branch of a science and technology organization. These organizations have implemented many activities to support innovative start-up projects, especially in perfecting products, technology, consulting on legal procedures and connecting investments.

One of the outstanding successes in 2024 was the Techfest VinhPhuc event, attracting more than 80 stores displaying business products. This event not only helps local businesses introduce their typical products but also creates opportunities to promote their brands and attract investment. Through that, Techfest is also an opportunity to spread the spirit of innovative startups and promote connections between investors and startups.

Vinh Phuc province has identified the development of an innovative startup ecosystem, the transfer of science and technology applications, and digital transformation as key and breakthrough tasks in its sustainable economic development strategy. These factors are considered key driving forces for the province to develop its economy quickly and sustainably in the future.

The provincial government continues to develop innovation ecosystems in the industrial, agricultural and service sectors, linked to domestic value chains and industry clusters. Large local enterprises play a central role, leading innovation activities, while state management agencies play a role in creating a favorable institutional and policy environment.

In addition, Vinh Phuc also actively deploys open innovation platforms and open innovation networks to attract investment resources inside and outside the province to create new technologies, new products, and form new businesses. The province also promotes links with innovation networks, research and technology development centers inside and outside the province to enhance competitiveness and innovation in the business community.
