In celebration of World Intellectual Property Day 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Intellectual Property Association and the Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics, will organize a video clip creation contest with the theme “Ho Chi Minh City Students with Intellectual Property”.
|
This contest aims to encourage and promote the creativity of students in creating valuable intellectual property. In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology will also organize a workshop on “Intellectual Property and Music: Feeling the Rhythm of Intellectual Property”, focusing on discussing urgent issues, such as copyright protection, use of sample music, copyright infringement in music, and exploring the role of music in the digital age. On the sidelines of the workshop, there will be consulting activities on intellectual property identification, registration procedures and protection of intellectual property rights as well as exhibitions of products and services in the field of music production.
World Intellectual Property Day 2025 will celebrate the contributions of creators, inventors and entrepreneurs who push the boundaries of creativity and innovation. They create music that not only connects people, but also stirs deep emotions, drives change and inspires a more creative future. The event will also invite everyone to explore how intellectual property rights, combined with innovative policies, empower creators and develop new ideas for the music industry.
Through World Intellectual Property Day 2025, we will highlight the importance of protecting the works of musicians, composers, and performers, and all those who create sounds that move the heart. This is not only a celebration of creativity, but also an opportunity to better understand the role that intellectual property plays in protecting and promoting the rich and diverse music of the world. |
