During the development process, Da Nang has implemented regulations on livestock density until 2030 to control the number of livestock in accordance with the existing agricultural land area, contributing to reducing environmental pollution, especially in densely populated areas and limited agricultural land. This planning work also promotes the development of organic livestock, concentrated livestock, disease control, ensuring biosafety and food hygiene. In fact, the city's agricultural sector has made many advances in applying high technology such as net houses, greenhouses, automatic irrigation systems to produce vegetables, flowers, mushrooms, and at the same time forming typical high-tech agricultural enterprises, such as Afarm, Tam An Farm, Greentech.
In addition, Da Nang City has strongly developed organic and specialty agricultural products, contributing to enhancing the value and competitiveness of local agricultural products. Typical products, such as organic rice, melons, peanuts, safe vegetable areas, flowers, tea, mushrooms using high technology, with hundreds of establishments and thousands of workers participating. In particular, the city focuses on developing agricultural cooperatives according to the CNC model, of which 6 cooperatives operate effectively and many OCOP products have been certified, contributing to promoting consumption and improving the quality of local agricultural products.
