Building a startup ecosystem for youths
Can Tho City Youth Union has actively promoted the startup movement, not only promoting but also organizing many activities to educate skills and connect ideas and creative projects.


In particular, the Central Youth Union organized an online training conference at the end of May 2025 on standardizing OCOP products according to the National Criteria, attracting thousands of young people. Experts guided the application of artificial intelligence in quality management and packaging design, helping startups improve their competitiveness in the market.

Since 2023, the city's Youth Union and mass organizations have organized many events to support young entrepreneurs such as Youth Festival, creative idea contest, and product promotion and connection activities. The Youth Agricultural Service Cooperative also supports startups in introducing, consuming and completing OCOP profiles. In addition, training activities on digital transformation, business skills, startup capital and communication have helped projects develop sustainably, connect with incubators and businesses to turn ideas into real businesses.

In the school sector, many competitions and creative startup training programs are organized for students, creating a practice environment, connecting investors, opening up opportunities to turn ideas into commercial projects. At the same time, the youth also coordinate with related industries to advise on studying abroad, exporting labor and introducing vocational training courses, soft skills, contributing to helping young people become more confident in starting a business and developing themselves.
