The province is actively building a shared geospatial database system to provide a platform for effective management, analysis and sharing of data from different sources. This system not only serves state management but also supports people and businesses in accessing information easily, promoting urban development, improving public service efficiency and ensuring transparency.

Regarding the national policy on digital transformation to 2025 and towards 2030, Lam Dong focuses on building a provincial-level digital data warehouse, including an analysis platform, an open data portal and a smart monitoring center. These systems help synthesize, store and analyze diverse data, provide open data services, serve digital government, develop the digital economy and manage society. In particular, the monitoring center will support leaders in monitoring, directing and operating based on real data, while connecting and sharing information from the central to local levels.

The province’s long-term goal is to complete policies on surveying, mapping and updating highly accurate geographic data according to national standards. This will help Lam Dong improve its management and sustainable development capabilities, effectively respond to natural disasters and climate change, and contribute to the construction of smart, modern cities, promote socio-economic development and ensure national defense and security.
