On March 26, 2025, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the National Startup Association to organize the Forum "Developing innovative enterprises in the digital age".
The Government of Vietnam issued Resolution No. 03/NQ-CP on January 9, 2025, approving the implementation of the Action Program to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

In the context of implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo dated December 22, 2024, the artificial intelligence (AI) human resource training program in Ho Chi Minh City will take place continuously in 2025.
In the afternoon of March 18 in Hanoi, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Institute for Policy Studies and Media Development (IPS) held a seminar on "Assessing the overall landscape of artificial intelligence in the public sector in Vietnam".
The policy forum "Vietnam proactively develops the semiconductor and artificial intelligence industry in the new era" was held on March 14, 2025 in Hanoi, with the participation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
In the recent years, Vietnam has made impressive strides in the digital technology sector with total revenue estimated at 152 billion USD in 2024, an increase of 35.7% compared to 2019. This growth is not only reflected in revenue figures but also in the formation of a vibrant startup ecosystem with nearly 74,000 technology businesses.
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just announced the Plan to implement the Vietnam Semiconductor Industry Development Strategy and the Semiconductor Industry Human Resources Development Program to 2030, with the goal of turning Ho Chi Minh City into a leading regional and international semiconductor industry center.
On December 23, Lac Hong University inaugurated the first semiconductor microcircuit laboratory in Dong Nai, with a total investment of more than 6.7 billion VND. The lab is equipped with advanced tools, notably the KIT HAPS 100, a high-performance hardware simulation platform that enables design development, testing and validation before going into production.
