MOSKVA (Sputnik) - «Rosatom» has signed a memorandum of understanding with Vietnam to implement a project for building Nuclear Science and Technology Center in Vietnam.

Dr. Duong Tuan Hung, Institute of Chemistry, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, said, he is presiding a project "Building a model of STEM secondary and high school education in Lao Cai province"supported by the US Embassy in Vietnam nearly 20,000 USD to implement from 5/2019 to 5/2020.

According to the Decree No. 41/2019 / ND-CP approved by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, the Ministry of Science and Technology will be the agency to organize the development plan and application of atomic energy.

The Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam and the Norwegian Ministry of Research and Education will consider promoting the funding program for joint research projects between two countries' scientific research funds, such as the Norwegian Research Council and Vietnam Science and Technology Development Fund aim to concretize potential cooperation between the two countries.

The study was implement by Mr. Bui Van Binh, High Technology Agriculture Center from October 2016 to January 2019.
