In order to improve the efficiency of the activities of the committees of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, Department of Information and Communications of the City has coordinated with the Office of the City People's Council to organize a pilot implementation of software to support the activities of the City People's Council, including the application of artificial intelligence to review draft resolutions at the 17th session - term X (term 2021 - 2026).

On July 19, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Ministry of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh CityNational University (VNU) coordinated and chaired the organization of a Workshop "Connecting technology transfer to institutes and schools in the Southern region". The workshop was organized into two sessions including: Technology transfer connection workshop for institutes and schools in the southern region and technology transfer connection workshop for departments and enterprises in the southern region.
On July 20, 2024, the working delegation of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) led by Deputy Minister Tran Hong Thai visited and worked at a number of enterprises and units with outstanding science and technology activities of Binh Dinh province of Science and Technology: Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical - Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company (Bidiphar), Quy Nhon University, South Central Coast Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology, Center for Scientific Discovery and Innovation, International Interdisciplinary Science and Education Center (ICISE).
On July 19 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ministry of Science and Technology coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City National University to organize a workshop "Connecting technology transfer in the Southern region", to effectively deploy technology search and transfer activities from abroad to Vietnam.
Information about the national key science and technology program "Supporting research, development and technology application of industry 4.0" (KC-4.0/19-30), Office of key programs at the state level, the Ministry of Science and Technology said that so far, 49 tasks have been contracted and implemented (of which 36 tasks are being implemented; 9 tasks have been acceptecd at the state level; 1 task awaiting acceptance; 3 tasks stopped implementation).
In the afternoon of July 12, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, it took place a launching program for Artificial Intelligence Challenge Contest 2024 (AI Challenge) in Ho Chi Minh City.
