Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology has just announced an order for units to carry out the task of researching the application of Blockchain technology in authenticating licenses and certificates issued by state agencies.

To identify the social and ethical challenges of applying artificial intelligence in various fields to discuss and develop a set of principles for responsible artificial intelligence in the future, on July 31, 2024, the University of Law, Vietnam National University, Hanoi organized a seminar on "Responsible artificial intelligence in agriculture". This is the third seminar in a series of scientific activities on the current status of artificial intelligence application in Vietnam in typical fields, such as education, health, and agriculture.

Recently, in Hai Phong, a delegation of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) led by Deputy Minister of MOST Hoang Minh had a working session with Hai Phong City People's Committee on organizing Vietnam Techfest 2024 in this city (expected in November 2024). In order to promote exchanges and enhance cooperation in training and research between the two universities (University of Nature Science, Ha noi National Science University, Vietnam and University of Arizona, USA) in areas of strength, especially in the field of semiconductor technology, on July 30, 2024, at the University of Nature Science, it took place a seminar on training and research in semiconductor and microchip technology.

On July 31, at Hanoi Polytechnic University, a seminar on “Building an ecosystem for the semiconductor industry in Hanoi, Vietnam” took place. The program is part of the Hanoi Semiconductor Technology Investment Connection Festival 2024, organized by Ha Noi Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center in coordination with related units.

In order to improve the efficiency of the activities of the committees of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, Department of Information and Communications of the City has coordinated with the Office of the City People's Council to organize a pilot implementation of software to support the activities of the City People's Council, including the application of artificial intelligence to review draft resolutions at the 17th session - term X (term 2021 - 2026).
