On June 27, 2017, at Can Tho International Exhibition Center, it took place a workshop on "Promoting the technology application, renewal and transfer in the Southern region and the Mekong Delta." It was held by Department of Technology Application and Development (Ministry of Science and Technology) in coordination with Can Tho Department of Science and Technology.

Fortine, a provider of security equipment and solutions, held a workshop of updating security solutions and information security trends for partners and customers in Vietnam on June 19.
