On World recognition Day (June 09, 2015) Quality Recognition Office under Ministry of Science and Technology collaborated with Center for Medicine Laboratory Quality Control of Ministry of Health to hold “Health care and society care support recognition workshop” at Ho Chi Minh University of Medicine and Pharmacy in order to emphasize the importance of recognizing the activities in the field of health care and society care. This is also an opportunity for the promotion and development of activities recognized in Vietnam.

In the framework of non-refundable aid programs and technical cooperation between Korea and Vietnam in 2015, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) of Korea Foreign Ministry Affairs invited 15 Vietnam experts to come to Korea in order to exchange research under the program for "Vietnam report advice 2035" from June 14-20.

Expectedly, 5th award ceremony of Ho Chi Minh and State prizes for science and technology will be held on National Independence Day on September 02, 2016.

The UK government granted Vietnam £ 10 million to support the Vietnam’s renovation and creativity project by 2019.

On June 10, Center for Technological Rubber Plastic and Energy Management Training, Ho Chi Minh Department of Indusstry and Trade and Vietnam Plastics Company introduced a biodegradable plastic bag production technology and project for establishment of the first biodegradable plastic bag production factory in Vietnam.

On June 03, 2015, 7th nationwide congress delegates of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations period 2015 to 2020 with a topic "Solidarity - innovation - Intelligence - Development" took place in Hanoi. Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong attended and directed the congress.

On June 9, in Ho Chi Minh City, Department of Technology Application and Development (Ministry of Science and Technology) collaborated with Korea Agency for Transport Infrastructure Development to hold a workshop on "New technology application for construction-infrastructure-transport," aimed at strengthening cooperation in research, technology transfer between Vietnam and Korea.

5th Vietnam summit conference on information technology and communication 2015 will be opening on June 25 in Hanoi, with topic "Information technology and intelligent administration".

Investing in science and technology research of Vietnam enterprises increased nearly equivalent to expense resources from the state budget.

In the framework of the project "Support for climate change mitigation actions are consistent with national conditions (NAMA) in Vietnam". The project was implemented by Institute for Meteorology, Hydrology and Climate Change, German Development Cooperation (GIZ). The project organized study tours in Mexico to learn experience related to the establishment of national NAMA implementation institutions.
