In order to develop trademark of Vietnamese rice in the context of the product are strong competition in the domestic market and export, Department of Agricultural Product Processing and Market Development (MARD) is drafting regarding management of national certification of Vietnamese rice. However, there are still mixed opinions surrounding this draft.
Information from Nghe An provincial Department of Science and Technology, this unit has recently cooperated with Agricultural Service Cooperatives officially printed and stamped the origin of electronic traceability with “guava pear” trademark.

The Ministry of Science and Technology announced six well-known Vietnamese trademarks, such as Vinamilk, IKEA, Vinacafe, Nike, Petrolimex, Pham and Lien Danh.
The National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam would like to inform,starting October 1, 2017, the classification of goods and services when applying for trademark registration will be applied in accordance with the Vietnamese version of the Ni-Xơ goods / services classification No 11-2017 is translated by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam from the English version published by WIPO.
