Investment projects with total cost over 25 billion from the social capital of the Department of Information and Communications in collaboration with Quang Nam VDC implementation. With 350 air broadcast, this system wifi coveraged at all points in the old town of Hoi An, to help residents and visitors can access the Internet free of charge at speeds up to 256Mb/second.
With this project, the city became the site of Hoi An in Vietnam, the first wireless wide area coverage to help people access the Internet anytime, anywhere, to perfect the infrastructure, information technology, development tourism in Hoi An.
The success of this project will start a similar project to wifism, the best support quality coverage of fixed broadband, mobile, 3G and 4G in Vietnam.
