Injection technology nanofilm
Try to imagine in the future, when cars can be covered with waterproof materials of nano which can be against water and dust, or surface of the kitchen and bathroom easily be sprayed antibacterial layers to prevent disease for several months with a single injection.


According to Gero et Decher1, smart surfaces is such functional nano will become a part of life sooner than you expect.
Nanofilm is known for a long time but to apply them is not easy. A major breakthrough for the effective application of the team they have been done 20 years ago. However this process requires the surface to be coated must be soaked in the solution and washed after each nano layer - This is a process with time consuming and is not suitable for industrial production.

Decher's lab has found a new way to cover a large number of different surfaces with unique coating by using a simple nanofilm spray bottle. The team also pointed out the spray and nano components is only slightly less accurate than the original method, but basically to speed up the process and point to a larger range of materials.

Nanofilm can be used for a variety of applications such as antibacterial cover for medical devices, antistatic film to clean computer screens, or fabric with catalytic activity to remove odors. Overlay nano new multifunction smart will certainly continue to change more products.
Decher said the new process is not only reliable but also faster and less expensive than current methods, it is more environmentally friendly. Researchers also said, "for less than U.S. $ 10 for a spray bottle, we can compete with equipment worth millions of dollars currently being used to fabricate nano coating.
