Software translating poultry sound

The sound of the bird tells us that they are comfortable with the environment or not. From these characteristics, the researchers of the Georgia Institute of Technology and University of Georgia (U.S.) research and develop software to understand the language of birds, help farmers improve efficiency in livestock production (photo).

The study was conducted in a chicken farm. They collected the cry of birds in normal conditions, and with factors such as wind, temperature and ammonia levels are changed. Computers will synthesis and analysis on the recordings. When the software has been completed, it can help improve farm owners aware of the bird habitat is ideal or not to adjust in time.
