The whole machines were manufactured by cooperation of Energy Conservation center of Ho Chi Minh city (ECC) and Air Conditioner Manufacturing company of Japan such as Panasonics, Sharp, Toshiba made.

ECC will monitor consumption power of the air conditioners through the electric meter, placed in the machine. Thence, the consumption power will be recorded on the computer.

During experiment, the households will be granted 50% of the installation cost, 500,000 VND of electricity bill each month. The study is implemented within 6 months if there is a concrete result ECC will continue to deploy installation of 1.500 energy conservation air conditioners.

According to the statistical result 2011, the kinds of air conditioners economized 70% consumption power (in Hanoi), and 40% of consumption power in HCM city. Explaining the different consumption power in the cities is due to the energy usage culture, different temperature between the regions...
