ViepGAP greens project deployed in Ha Giang

Safety greens growing project follows VietGAP standards, launched by Ha Giang People’s Committee and National Argo-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department (NAFIQAD) aiming to turn traditional cultivation ways into producing clean agricultural products and increasing higher income for farmers.

Specifically, Ha Giang People’s Committee planned areas again for safety greens growing in Communes such as Ngoc Duong, Phuong Thien and Ngoc Ha. At the same time, choosing 50 typical households launched pilot production. The farmers were also trained on growing techniques, greens care, insect prevention, harvesting and preliminary vegetable processing methods before bringing to the markets...
During the production process, the farmer must strictly comply with proposed technical process including scarifying, irrigation, fertilizing and preventing insects...under supervision of the technical staffs.
Planning and development of VietGAP greens growing area is a currently urgent requirement to ensure health for consumers. That is an instant problem that was especially interested by levels, sectors in Ha Giang province. For expanding and maintaining the project, must have the sustainable output for products because safe vegetables are also competitive in the market.
As for VietGAP vegetable products, Nitrogenous fertilizer, growth stimulants and pesticide are limited... Thereby, vegetables' form seems less attracted than other vegetables and don’t have brands.
Therefore, in an attempt to create output for the agricultural products, Ha Giang People’s Committee associated with NAFIQAD to establish safe greens stalls in some markets...and enhance advertisement in order to proceed to brand registration. |
