The topic of this year's competition is "Building better city for a better life" (better city, better life). Accordingly, the participant teams competed creative thinking to assemble, install robots to solve the problem that a modern city posing as organization and intelligent data processing, using optimized urban space, and so on.
According to information from DTT- Eduspec joint venture, representative of Vietnam union attended international Robothon competition, said that this year's contest had 70 delegations from five countries, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and host country Philippines.
Vietnam Union had 24 teams (consisting of 9 teams of Hanoi, 7 teams of Da Nang and 8 teams of Ho Chi Minh city).
At the competition, teams of Nguyen Binh Khiem included 3 children, such as Lieu Thanh Ngoc Bao, Dao Thien Long, Dinh Thi Pham Ba Thi competed two turns and reached full 2,000 marks, won a championship prize of young children.
International Robotics competition (technology of design process, building and operating robots) is annually organized for pupils aged 6 to 13 years old, starting from Southeast Asia and gradually spreading to Asia - Pacific and becoming a prestigious international competition, many countries and organizations supported. The competition is annually held in order to create a playground of information technology applications, scientific background, and concurrently communicate creative emotion and encourage team’s spirit for children. |
