Camera connected with Streambox
Accordingly, all cameras of VTV will be attached Streambox – connected directly to cameras and will transmit images through 3G (or 4G) in real time. The main task of Streambox is to broadcast news and live interviews, aims to ensure topicality – even in term of information’s image.
Now, with the increase of TV services’ quality, viewers not only want to get the full and accurate information about “hot” events but also require topicality and directness of vision at the events’ scene.
VTV has still broadcasted almost by dedicated television car, private leased lines or via satellite to transmit to the center. However, geographical distance, high cost and cumbersome equipment are always obstacles to televise “traditionally”. Technology solution named Streambox was born with the purpose of meeting the demands of live televise at the scene based on the most advanced techniques of compressing and transmitting visual signals technologies.
Positive aspects of this technology is that it can transmit information from anywhere with features, such as low- cost, compact, convenient, flexible, mobile, responsive to topical images of information.
At the 27th SEA Games, the production crews of VTV will apply StreamBox technology at all hotspots of Games with the desire for not missing any moment of Vietnam Sport Team’s coronation. At the Center for International TV - IBC in Myanmar, VTV has also been arranged 2 television rooms to serve for producing, receiving and transmitting visual signals. |
