These byproducts are often burned on the rice-field, canals or roads which lead to contaminate environment, destroy soil micro-organism.

Therefore, study on technology and equipment with regard to collecting, preserving and making animal food is very necessary to increase animal food resources. Researchers from University of Industry and Building, Dr. Do Minh Chien and his colleagues has designed a hay pressing machine, a device that can put straws, hays into cube-shaped ERC-10.

Through experimental process, the team of researchers has come up with the conclusions such as  the hay pressing machine is a based on non-consecutive principle device, using hydraulic system with the capacity of 10 bale of straw/hour, and could  fit to all farms including small and medium scale. Moreover, this is a simple device with low cost, could  be applied  in almost households, by using agricultural byproducts to feed animals, the device partially contributes to environmental protection.
