Many science and technology tasks were supported by Fund.

Accordingly, National Science and Technology Development Fund doesn’t operate for profit purposes, sponsored functions, loan and guarantee funds, funding to carry out  science and technology tasks; supporting capacity improvement activities of national science and technology. The Fund is an administrative unit under Ministry of Science and Technology, has legal personality, its own seal, and an account at the State Treasury and banks in the country.

Supported objects are science and technology missions that organizations and individuals proposed, such as basic research tasks, applied research tasks, unexpectedly scientific and technological tasks that are significantly practical and potential. In addition, loaned subjects are the task of science and technology in order to apply the results of scientific research and technology development in production and life to be proposed by organizations and individuals.

The Fund manages research quality under international standards. The content of the science and technology research tasks don’t overlap with performing researches from ​ Fund’s capital or capital of the State.
