Solar thermal power pans
Survey research of solar thermal power pan technology and manufacture ability in Vietnam is a study of engineer Trinh Quang Dung, Ho Chi Minh city Institute of Physics. The author surveyed technical parameters of the Stirling technology and capabilities, application areas that are consistent with the technology in the world; capacity of the commercialization pan; Stirling technology demand in Vietnam market, such as national security, rural electrification, the Central Highlands and islands. The study calculated and constructed Stirling solar thermal power pan technology models that are fit for the need of each region, each object in Vietnam.
The result of the research has been consulted and used by SSPA company for project development and technology transfer in production Stirling solar thermal power pan technology at Trang Bang industry park, Tay Ninh.
Pressure sensor chip
Master Vo Ke Thanh and engineer Huynh Trong Phat, Center for Research and Chip Design Training succeeded in the study design, simulation and experimented pressure sensor chip to aim at applications in consumer devices.
The research team conducted design, simulation, fabrication, instrumentation, packaging and test application of capacitor pressure sensor chips that used existing equipments in Vietnam. The study successfully fabricated pressure sensor chips with working pressure thresholds and different sensitivities.
In addition, the authors have developed a sensor module, successfully applied in measuring the height of water columns towards the use of consumer devices, such as washing machines, sphygmomanometers, flooding measurement devices.
Pressure sensor chips have been put on the list of the proposed order of Ministry of Science and Technology and the author team researched, trained and constructed hi-tech infrastructure.
Application of science in urban management
The study of oriented development garden system - parks in the organization of urban space in Ho Chi Minh city. The study was implemented by Dr. architect Hoang Anh Tu, Ho Chi Minh city University of Architecture.
The author applied mathematical models for determining the reasonable sand deployment scale for some key areas, concurrently, proposed technical solutions for planning and deploying the reasonable sand. |
