Building wireless sensor networks to improve agricultural accuracy
Research team includes Mr. Le Dinh Tuan, and Mr. Thai Doan Ngoc from Long An University of Economics and Industry, developed a Wireless sensor network that could serve agricultural accuracy.
Accordingly, this system could help farmers to collect parameters related to agricultural production, such as air temperature, humidity, light, soil moisture, pH and etc. The information is then sent wirelessly to management station for analyzing and processing, thus, users could take control all over the network and give out decisions to boost production and improve crop quality.
Wireless sensor network is known as WSNs, equipped with sensor nodes helping sense parameters, such as temperature, moisture, light and etc. It can wirelessly connect to other sensor nodes to form a network that cover a certain area. The information is sent to management station through various sensor nodes, eventually, using internet transfer to Data Center for analyzing, processing and store.
The model could be scaled up and developed for widespread applications, along with agricultural experts, researchers who are looking for optimal and suitable parameters with particular crops in different areas. |
