The study aims to investigate watermarking technique, and how to apply it into Vietnamese documents. Focusing on character moving technique embeds information into Vietnamese documents.

Based on characteristics of Vietnamese handwriting, the author team suggested a method that could help improve amount of embedded information into documents.  The volume of embedded information in Vietnamese documents significantly increased in comparison with character moving technique relied on Latin letters.

Hiding information into documents was divided into two main stages that were embedding and extracting stages

The method used by research team is Vietnamese seal moving up or down technique with a very small distance.

Information embedding and extracting software developed by researcher team, their first successful trial with various formats of Vietnamese documents.
