Celebrating Vietnam Anti-counterfeiting and pirated goods Day

Vietnam Day of anti-counterfeit, pirated goods (11/29) is celebrated annually in order to disseminate legal documents involving anti-counterfeit and pirated goods to community, consumers, domestic enterprises and raise citizens’ awareness for these problems.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc assigned Ha Noi Peoples’s Committee and Ho Chi Minh People’s Committee to preside, and coordinate with Vietnam Association for Anti-Counterfeiting and Trademark Protection (VATAP) for holding Vietnam counterfeiting Day 2014.
According to statistics, in the first 9 months of 2014, competent authorities have discovered, handled 152,185 violations with total amount of sanctioned 10,043.5 billion VND and prosecuted 1,147 violations related to production of counterfeit and pirated goods, commercial frauds. |
