Vietnam studies Korea sustainable development experiences
In the framework of non-refundable aid programs and technical cooperation between Korea and Vietnam in 2015, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) of Korea Foreign Ministry Affairs invited 15 Vietnam experts to come to Korea in order to exchange research under the program for "Vietnam report advice 2035" from June 14-20.

According to KOICA, the program expresses a commitment and active participation of KOICA on building "Vietnam report 2035."

During time in Korea, Vietnam expert group led by former Vice Minister of Planning and Investment Cao Viet Sinh, will discuss and exchange with Korea specialists at Korea Policy and Public Management School under Korea Development and Research Institute (KDI) on Korea's development experiences in the two fields "innovation and development of science and technology" and " Sustainable development"; discuss some topics related to" Vietnam report 2035", such as Vietnam status and some raised issues, plan and overview of Vietnam report 2035, difficulties in the process of building Vietnam report 2035 and etc.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on June 15,  KOICA Chairman Kim Young-mok emphasized: "the exchanging  research program of Vietnam delegation in Korea has an important role to help assess the development process of Vietnam and come up with medium and long term development orientations in the future."

In addition to Vietnam invited experts to South Korea, KOICA also committed in the coming time will continue to support the process of building "Vietnam report 2035" under the other form, such as collection of comments and assignment of support specialist and etc.

Early 2014, Prime Minister signed decision on establishment of Steering Committee to build “Vietnam report 2035". Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam is chief of Steering Committee, steered, executed, and coordinated activities among ministries, agencies and World Bank (WB) in Vietnam in the implementation of the research and construction of "Vietnam report 2035."

On September 9, 2014, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and World Bank Vice President were in charge of East Asia Pacific, Axel van Trotsenburg officially launched this report.
