IHVN delegation includes 19 physicians, cardiologists, nurses by Nguyen Hoang Yen, President of IHVN, head of delegation, worked with leaders of Can Tho Central General Hospital and Kien Giang General Hospital. IHVN announced cooperation programs, including the specialized knowledge support about adult cardiovascular; supply of the equipment for cardiology, heart valve for poor patients, the necessary heart medication and etc.

Specifically: Cooperation Program in Can Tho Central General Hospital conducted from September 14- 19, 2015 with the 2 departments: Open heart surgery and cardiovascular interventions. It is expected that 10 poor patients will be supported open heart surgery and stent coronary intervention. Cooperation Program in Kien Giang General Hospital, conducted from September 21 to October 2, 2015: support professional emergency and cardiopulmonary resuscitation for Kien Giang General Hospital and the district hospital: Giong Rieng, Ha Tien , Phu Quoc.

Doctor Nguyen Minh Yen, Head of Planning and synthesis of Can Tho Central General Hospital, said: At the moment, Cho Ray Hospital – Ho Chi Minh city assigned one doctor, nurse delegation including 10 people, combined with IHVN to support open-heart surgery for patients of Central Can Tho General Hospital.
