The study on effect of organic material supplementation by burying pruned tea branches and leaves was conducted on tea variety LDP1, in Pho Yen and Dai Tu districts, Thai Nguyen province from 2015 to 2016. Experimental materials included burying materials applied with amount of 10 ton/ha, Lam Thao single super phosphate applied with amount of 625 kg/ha, microorganisms products which decomposed organic material named Vixura, EM and Emuniv.
The research results showed that mulching pruned tea branches and leaf increased amount of soil creature, shoot density and weight, height and canopy width of tea plants. The effect of burying pruned tea branches and leaves on yield and economic efficiency depend on location. Supplemented phosphorus with Vixura product had the best effect because it increased humus, aeration and weight of creature in the soil, growth of tea plant and shoot density (reached 1,511.2 shoots/m2, increased yield (from 2.1 to 3.1 ton/ha/harvest time) and economic efficiency reached 94.7 VND million /ha/year. Burying pruned tea branched with phosphorus increased weight of creature in the soil, growth of tea plant and shoot weight, increased yield (from 1.5 to 2 ton/ha/harvest time).
