Young scientists need more effort in research
On 16/6/2016, Institute of Computational Science and Technology (ICST – under Ho Chi Minh Department of Science and Technology) organized a workshop on research methods and research direction in the field of computational science and technology.


Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ky Phung - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology opened the workshop.

It is an activity of sharing experiences in the field of computational science and technology for young scientists. The workshop attracted the participation of many professors and students form university in the city.

Speaking at the opening, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ky Phung - Deputy Director of Science and Technology Department of Ho Chi Minh City, Director of Institute of computational Science and Technology - ICST highly appreciate the content presented in the workshop.

At the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Huynh Kim Lam (HCMC International University) shared his experience on how to present and publish a scientific report. Besides, Mr. Lam stressed that young scientists need to prepare well the content of the idea when considering the issue of scientific research, find suitable scientific journals with their projects to post, pay attention on how to present and share information in accordance with the journal.

To raise awareness for young scientists, Prof. Nguyen Van Thinh (Seoul - Korea National University) presented a series of detailed instruction on motivation, performance, effort, opportunity, progress and destination in the scientific research journey.
