The phenomenon of 'blood moon' appears in Vietnam
Vietnamese astronomers witnessed the strange color change of the Moon in the sky.

A partial eclipse occurs when the Sun, Earth and Moon lie on a straight line. At this time the moonlight will be dimmed and the Moon will be partially obliterated. Looking at the Earth, the Moon will turn red so it is also called the phenomenon of blood.

The area that can observe the partial lunar eclipse this time includes most of Asia, the east coast of Africa and the whole of Europe. Vietnam is in the area to fully observe this phenomenon.

Information from the Young Astronomical Society of Vietnam said that the lunar eclipse will last for 5 hours, starting at 22h50 on August 7th, when the lunar eclipse arises, when the moon turns reddish. At 00h22 dawn on 8/8, the partial lunar eclipse begins, reaches its maximum at 1:20 minutes, the Moon turns dark red. Up to 2h18 minutes of the partial lunar eclipse end and 3:30 the end of the lunar eclipse, which marks the end of this astronomical phenomenon.

Observers can use the eye to observe the phenomenon. However, if there is a small telescope or binoculars or a camera lens with a high optical zoom (above 10x), it will be a better aid for the observation. Also, watch the weather forecast before observing this phenomenon.
