Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Vo Hong Phung - Chairman of Can Tho Young Entrepreneur Association presented the purpose of the congress, to re-evaluate the achievements in the past term, add targets, the direction of association in the next term in accordance with the current situation and the election of new executive board to prepare for the celebration of "Vietnam Businessmen Day 13/10".

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Truong Quang Hoai Nam - Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee said that young businessmen forces have never received the attention of the leaders and the community as at present. He expected Can Tho young businessmen generation will continue to grow, contribute greatly to the development of the country.

The Congress pointed out 5 specific action programs, including: Raising the competitiveness and branding of Can Tho City businessmen; Building young entrepreneurial culture; Can Tho Young businessmen associate, cooperation and co-development; Can Tho young businessmen can co-develop community; Building partnerships, young business dialogue with the public administration sector.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of Can Tho Young Entrepreneurs Association for the term 2017-2020 with 21 members. Mr. Dinh Tuan Kiet, General Director of SMK Investment Joint Stock Company was elected Chairman of the Association.

At the end of the Congress, delegates expected the new Executive Committee will have a wise direction to bring the Urban Young Businessmen Association to develop in the coming time and prepare to welcome "Vietnam Businessmen Day October 13"successfully.

On this occasion, Can Tho Young Entrepreneurs Association has awarded membership certificates to 23 new members.
