On November 6, the leaders of the 11 APEC members, among the members of the Trans-Pacific Partners (TPP), excluding the United States, began discussions about the future of this agreement at Da Nang Administration Center.

TPP-11 is the new name of the 11 TPP member countries after the United States announced its withdrawal under President Donald Trump.

Leading Vietnamese delegation to negotiate TPP-11 is Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh.

TPP-11 delegation meeting in Da Nang is a closed meeting. The parties will focus on technical issues, narrowing disagreements to prepare for the ministerial-level summit and TPP summit conference to be held during the APEC 2017 high-level week.

APEC 2017 includes 200 large and small events organized in 10 provinces and cities of Vietnam from Hanoi, Nha Trang, Vinh, Ninh Binh, Hue, Ha Long, Can Tho, Hoi An, Da Nang  and Ho Chi Minh City throughout the year.
