Bac Kan: Biodiversity conservation planning to 2020

The resolution "Bac Kan province's biodiversity conservation planning to 2020, orientation to 2030" has been promulgated by Bac Kan province with specific regulations and policies for the purpose of preservation and sustainable development of the important natural ecosystems, rare and precious species and gene sources; maintain and develop environmental payment services, biodiversity conservation adaptation to climate change and etc.

Accordingly, to ensure the stability of protected areas, the National Park in the area, Bac Kan determined to combine harmony between conservation and exploitation, rational use of resources in order to contribute to control the speed reduction of biodiversity across the country. The resolution established a strict and well-defined plan for biological diversity protection. In the coming time, the national park and protected areas are planned areas, boundaries of subdivisions and infrastructure building.
Currently, conservation and protection programs have been implemented including forest protection; development of forests along the direction of afforestation, zoning off and regenerating natural forests; human resources development; biodiversity conservation.
