Mr. Ha Phuc Man, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Organic Agriculture delivered speech at the Congress.

According to Mr. Ha Phuc Man, Chairman of the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association, organic agriculture is a production system that helps maintain the health of the soil, ecosystems and people. Organic farming is based on diverse ecological processes and is adapted to local conditions rather than the use of harmful inputs.

In addition, organic agriculture combines tradition, innovation from environmentally friendly science and technology, and promotes fair, quality relationships that bring good living to all people involved in the process, the system.

With all these values, the trend of using organic agricultural products has become a necessity in developed countries and over the past 10 years this trend has rapidly spread to the rest of the world.

In the coming time, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies in finding solutions to promote the development of organic agriculture in Vietnam to meet the growing demand of domestic market as well as direction to a future export of organic agricultural products.
