At the meeting lasting nearly 4 hours, the members of the Committee, the councils are the educational managers, universities, experts, businesses stated, focused on four issues that the Prime Minister suggested the opening of the meeting was about the teachers; programs and textbooks; university autonomy; Professors, Associate Professors.

Listening to the comments, the Prime Minister expressed his wish to extend the meeting further to hear more opinions from delegates who are experienced in the field of education and training.

Agreeing with some comments on the construction of global citizens, the Prime Minister affirmed that our country builds a socialist-oriented market economy, but does not follow the social market. Global citizens, but must bring Vietnamese cultural identity, Vietnamese historical background, not the global citizen of a market society without a history or culture of Vietnam.

The Prime Minister suggested Minister of Education and Training to expeditiously draft the Directive on accelerating the implementation of renovation of textbooks and general education textbooks in order to submit to the Prime Minister for signing in 6/ 2018.
