This project is carried to aim at mastering the cold plasma technology and evaluating the water treatment efficiency of the technology. Thence, it is basic for the application of cold plasma technology in the treatment of household water and aquaculture as well as medical, civil and technological wastewater in the Southwest.

During the implementation period, the research team completed the following activities, such as construction of model of household water supply treatment system; Model of household water supply treatment system from ground water at household scale; model of water treatment system for aquaculture from small capacity river water; model of water treatment system to feed shrimps from river water; model of water treatment system feeding snakehead from river water; technical documentation on air discharge characteristics and photoelectric discharge in the plasma chamber; the process of plasma technology; the process of creating cold plasma; a set of design drawings of water treatment system; household water supply treatment technology process from river water by cold plasma; process of water treatment technology to feed fish from river water by cold plasma; water treatment technology process for feeding shrimps from river water by cold plasma; and etc.

The research shows that cold plasma technology is highly effective in household water supply and aquaculture. The water treatment model is stable and the quality of water after treatment meets the standards. Production models have good water quality, shrimps, fishes are very rare disease manifestation, good growth, meet the requirements of productivity, quality. Improve technology process, reduce production costs - apply to models of aquatic production and model of household water treatment.
