Report of the 2018 operating results, Director Kum Dongwha said, in 2018 it is the premise of implementing market survey activities, conducting research and developing pre-feasibility reports for the microchip industry in Vietnam, assessing the current situation of research focusing on the field of information technology and biotechnology to serve the orientation of activities of VKIST in the following years.
Accordingly, the Institute has implemented an order project of KIST Institute (Korea) on the operation situation of S&T programs in Vietnam to help develop a plan to organize joint scientific and technological programs between the two countries in the future, as well as help facilitate the process of participating in national research and science and technology projects.
The Institute also collaborated with Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Processors (VASEP), Department of Technology Application and Development, Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technology Incubator to implement the Market Survey project about the value chain for fisheries in Can Tho city and and to propose research directions, impacts to improve capacity, increase productivity, improve quality and product efficiency.
The goal in 2019, VKIST will build industry networks and global reach. Accordingly, it will maintain the "VKIST Industry Forum" twice a year. Signing a cooperation agreement with domestic partners, such as Viettel to study 5G components and equipment, Hanoi National University, and Ha Noi City Department of Science and Technology and etc. VKIST also aims to promote international relations with ITRI (Taiwan), IBM (USA), Aato University (Finland) ... |
