Mathematics Festival Day in Central Vietnam
Taking place at Quy Nhon University (Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province) on March 2, 2019 under named "World Decoding Mathematics", this is the first time the Open Mathematical Festival Day will be held in the Central region.


The festival Day consists of two parts, in which the exhibition and experience for children from 5 years old are organized under the following topics: Mathematics with nano molecular chemistry; Mathematics in Artificial Intelligence; Mathematics and model; Everything moving and etc. With the participation of the Faculty of Mathematics - Quy Nhon University, Binh Dinh Scientific Discovery Center, Quy Nhon FPT Software, MOMA Project, S3 Creative Academy, Horizon International Bilingual School, Pinnacle Center and a number of book publishing units.

Mrs. Trinh Thi Thuy Giang, Deputy Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Mathematics (VIASM), the host unit of the festival day, said, the children will be playing mathematics, solving math problems, folding blocks of multifaceted picture, playing the game of moving geometric blocks, experience math games on computers and etc. Excellent players will have rewards.

Besides, they will be observed 3D mathematical models and listened to explanations to understand, each model is built from mathematical formula.

According to Mrs. Trinh Thi Thuy Giang, through coordination with the STEM education unit, creative Center, schools organization of open mathematical festival Day in many localities, VIASM will grow to be a rich banking experience of Mathematical activities.
