The "organic" movement is booming in Vietnam in the last few years, we can easily see "organic" food stores everywhere, "organic" brands appear as growing mushrooms after rain, whether self-conceived or certified.

However, in fact, consumers are unable to distinguish the products are actually organic agricultural products. Therefore, the Ministry of Science and Technology has developed and issued the first set of Vietnamese standards specifically for processing and labeling organic agricultural products; organic farming, organic breeding; organizing the evaluation and certification of organic product production and processing systems.

From this base, organic food will have clear and transparent criteria. This will be an important basis for farmers to practice organic agriculture and based on that, the authorities can check and control the production and trading of organic products in coming time.

To clarify this issue, Vietnam online Quality organized a seminar with the topic: "Building and applying organic agricultural standards - Towards sustainable agriculture."
