Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Truong Hong Duong, Chief Inspector emphasized the significance and importance of the Law on Denunciation and the Anti-Corruption 2018 approved by the XIV National Assembly.

The Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Justice requests the delegates to concentrate on listening and exchanging specific situations to firmly grasp the provisions of the law on denunciations, anti-corruption. Threreby, develop a plan to implement it in accordance with the functions, tasks, characteristics and practical situation of agencies and units in order to apply and solve the assigned tasks.

Mr. Truong Hong Duong also said that after the conference, the Ministry Inspector will report to the Minister to propose a plan to widely disseminate the contents of the Law on Denunciation and Anti-Corruption as well as related Decrees soon to be issued to all civil servants of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

At the Conference, delegates heard Mr. Dinh Van Minh, Director of the Legal Department, Government Inspectorate disseminated basic contents, new and amended points and issues to be noted in the implementation of the Denunciation Law, the Anti-Corruption Law of 2018, such as Basic contents of 02 laws, which emphasize the concept, process, procedure, time, authority, denunciation resolution; Additional points of the law on denunciations, such as anonymous accusations; allow withdrawal of denunciations; clearly stipulating the protection of denouncers, protecting the rights and interests of the accused person; suspending the settlement of denunciations and etc.
