The information has just been announced by Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy at the regular quarter 2/2019 press conference of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Festival 2019 with the topic "Promoting the development of artificial intelligence ecosystem" is the place to connect and gather elements of the artificial intelligence community (Al). The program is expected to become one of the foundation and motivation to promote the spread and development of talents and elite AI in Vietnam.

"With the topic of promoting the development of artificial intelligence ecosystem, AI4VN 2019 program takes place in an open model, a place to connect and gather elements of AI community", Deputy Minister Bui The Duy, Ministry of Science and Technology, Head of the Organization Board said.

It is known that AI Festival this year brings together hundreds of Vietnamese intellectual people in the field of domestic and foreign AI in order to orient the development for AI Vietnam industry. The program creates a foundation for connecting elements in AI technology ecosystem, including experts, business leaders, technology startups, and research units, AI applications, training institutions to learn, invest and grow together.

The festival has specialized workshops divided by fields, such as AI in tourism, health, education, financial technology. The event also brings together presentations from experts, professors, and heads of international AI research. In addition, many CEOs, business leaders, technology corporations and startups in the country also gathered to discuss solutions and recommendations for developing AI in Vietnam. Moreover, AI4VN also has technology exhibitions and performances, such as self-propelled cars, hackathon competitions and etc.
